What is LightStim Multi Wave® Patented Technology?
This unique technology emits specific wavelengths (colors) of light simultaneously and continuously during treatment for more comprehensive light absorption throughout multiple layers of the skin and better results.
How does it work?
In Wrinkles mode, Elipsa utilizes multiple wavelengths of Amber. Light Red, Dark Red and Infrared LEDs. These wavelengths work together to provide treatment for full face wrinkles. In Acne mode, Elipsa utilizes Blue and Red LEDs to treat mild to moderate inflammatory acne.
Is there any downtime or pain involved?
You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
Can I treat both wrinkles and acne?
Yes. With the touch of a button Elipsa can activate different wavelengths of light so you can easily switch between Wrinkles Mode and Acne Mode.
What is the recommended treatment time?
To treat wrinkles, use Elipsa for 16 minutes, 3-5 days per week. To treat acne, use Elipsa for 12 minutes, 3-5 days per week. Consistency is key for best results.
Why do the Acne and Wrinkles Modes have different treatment times?
Treatment times were established during the FDA testing process and represent recommendations to promote the greatest efficacy based upon specific wavelengths of light used in each mode.
