The basics of good skin care include proper cleansing, moisturization, sun protection, and promotion of skin renewal and and regeneration. Skin renewal and regeneration may be promoted with proven growth factors, retinol-based products, alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic or lactic acid, hydroquinone-based lightening agents and/or antioxidants. SPA FACIALS & SKIN CARE

The San Diego Face Signature Facial is the ultimate facial experience that is all about relaxation and radiantly renewed skin! This decadent facial consists of a heavenly neck, shoulder and scalp massage. The San Diego Face Signature Facial combines the most innovative and powerful anti-aging products and technologies to provide the ultimate treat for your skin.

Customized Facial - $89 / 60 min

If you are unsure about what facial is right for you, this facial is the best choice for you! Our skin care experts will recommend what is perfect for your skin. This treatment includes cleansing, steam, extractions, if necessary, a customized mask and a soothing neck and shoulder massage to improve circulation.

Express Facial - $60 / 40 min

Are you limited on time, but still want to treat your skin? This facial is an introduction to clinical skin care; the facial treatment includes a full skin analysis and is tailored to the client's skin specific needs. It is a recommended starting point for all our clinical facials to prepare the skin for highly therapeutic skin care products.

The Active Facial (Great for Men) - $99 / 50 min

While each of our facials is designed for both men and women, this facial is especially geared towards the distinct needs of a man’s skin. A deep pore cleansing and exfoliation will minimize razor burn and ingrown hairs. Then you can relax with a therapeutic mask while our technician performs a soothing neck and shoulders massage. This facial is ideal for the active person with limited time.

The Ultimate Back Treatment - $79 / 75  min

This treatment includes a deep pore cleansing, followed by a deep exfoliation to remove skin cell debris, leaving the skin smooth and healthy. Once your skin has been prepped, our specially trained technician will gently perform extractions, an appropriate toner is applied and personalized treatment mask is applied. While your mask sets, your technician will awaken your senses with a therapeutic scalp massage. Your mask is then removed with steamed towels to open the pores and relax your sore muscles. We finish this luxurious treatment with a relaxing massage with aromatherapy oils and a hydrating moisturizer.

Teen Facial - $59 / 50 min

The teen years are the best time to start implementing a good skin care regimen. This facial includes a personal skin assessment, followed by a deep pore cleansing, exfoliation and a series of medicated masks and serums that contain enzymes, antioxidants, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredients. Also, a high frequency machine will be used along with gentle extractions, followed by a pressure point massage to sooth and calm the skin.

Hydrating Facial (Great treatment 1 week prior to surgery!) - $89 / 60 min

This Immunity Supporting Facial will better prepare the skin for an upcoming facial surgery and/or laser treatment. This facial effectively enhances your skin’s texture while plumping and hydrating, creating a more supple appearance. This specific treatment is designed to prepare your skin prior to surgery and/or laser treatment for optimum results of skin healing, tone and texture.

Soothing Facial (Compliments any laser treatment and aids in faster healing) - $89 / 60 min

The Soothing Facial is the ultimate calming treatment for your skin. The skin is soothed with a rich zinc mask and swelling is reduced with a light lymphatic massage. This treatment is completed with a luscious antioxidant serum applied to prevent environmental damage and aid in a faster recovery time.

TREATMENT ADD-ONS

Luxurious Lip Treatment - $15 / 10 min

Gentle stimulation is used around the lips to increase the penetration of active ingredients designed to fight the effects of age and free radicals, leaving a smoother lip area.

Skinceuticals Customized Gel Peel - $30 / 15 min

This is a great addition to some of our facials that do not have an intensive exfoliation included. This step-up exfoliation treatment smoothes the skin.

Revitalized Eyes - $20 / 15 min

Provides delicate restoration and hydration to the eye area and attends to unsightly swelling and expression lines. This service can be incorporated into any facial, with the exception of the Express Facial.

High Frequency - $10/ 15 min

Add this treatment on to any facial for its proven anti-bacterial benefits.

Sole Indulgence - $15 / 15 min

This massage gives special attention to the toes, arches and ankles by using techniques from Reflexology, Shiatsu, and Swedish modalities. Being massaged with moisturizing organic shea butter and wrapped in hot towels will leave your feet silky smooth and have you feeling like you are walking on air.

Anti-Aging Firming Facial - $109 / 75

The perfect prescription for sun-damaged and pigmented skin; designed to brighten, lighten and clarify complexions. This vitamin-enriched facial is a highly effective treatment for minimizing the visible signs of aging. This facial begins with a gentle cleanse, a light exfoliation stimulates cell turnover, and next experience our unique resurfacing massage technique with a light lifting of the muscles to encourage a youthful glow. This treatment is completed with a medical grade Vitamin C mask, an antioxidant-rich treatment serum and a superior anti-aging moisturizer, leaving your skin toned and your complexion radiant.

Vitamin C Facial – $109 / 75 min

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel - $115 / 50 min

Anti-Aging Hydroxy Acid Treatment - $115 / 50 min

Microdermabrasion - $99 face / 50 min; $130 face and neck / 75 min

One of the most sought after medical skin resurfacing procedures, microdermabrasion gently exfoliates the dull, dry, and damaged skin layer to encourage skin’s regeneration of collagen, elastin, and healthy skin cells. Enjoy decreased fine lines and refined skin texture and tone. Treatment includes cleanse, microdermabrasion, massage, treatment mask, and moisturizer. A series of 6 treatments spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart is recommended for best healthy, glowing, youthful skin.

Acne Treatment - $150 / 75 min

Relieve active eruptions and deeply clarify clogged pores with exfoliation, extractions, high frequency, salicylic acid and retinoic acid as needed. A series of 6 treatments every 2 to 3 weeks is recommended for targeted results.

Hand & Arm Resurfacing - $135 / 50 min

Reduce pigmentation spots and balance skin tone and texture with a deep cleanse, scrub, hydroxy acid or enzyme treatment, hydrating mask, and a luxurious arm and shoulder massage. A series of 6 treatments every 2 weeks recommended.

CHEMICAL PEELS

SkinCeuticals Brightening Peel - $99 / 30 min

This treatment is a unique, customizable peel targeting hyperpigmentation to dramatically improve the uneven appearance of photo-damaged, hormonal malasma, age spots and mottled skin. The masque combines high performance brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a powerful exfoliating acid solution to accelerate cell renewal and diminish, diffuse and localize hyperpigmentation.

*This peel can not be performed on pregnant or lactating women.

**The “must have” home care product following this treatment is SkinCeuticals New: Pigment Regulator that is equivalent to a 4% Hydroquinone, but this is a safer, healthier, effective skin lightener that can be used long term!

Vitalize "Lunch time" Peel - $135 / 30 min; Series of 3 $375; Series of 6 $700

The SkinMedica Vitalize Peel is a very superficial peel requiring little or no downtime and is safe and effective for normal, dry, oily, combination, aging, and sensitive skin. Commonly referred to as the "lunch-time" peel, it is a special formulation of peeling agents including alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids, resorcinol, and retinoic acid. Results are predictable and noticeable after just one peel to reduce hyperpigmentation, sun damage, fine lines, acne prone skin, and scarring. This powerful yet non-damaging peel can take years off aging skin and dramatic results are seen after a series of peels.

Vitalize Peel Before and After

Jessner's Peel – $150 / 50 min

Best suited for oily, acneic skin to dry out and treat skin eruptions. This peel containing both alpha and beta hydroxy acids along with resorcinol, penetrates deeper than an alpha or beta peel, but less deeply than a TCA. Not recommended for dry or sensitive skin.

Obagi Blue Peel - $600 / 90 min

If you're looking to accelerate your Transformation and interested in a chemical peel procedure, then the Obagi Blue Peel System may be right for you. Prior to and after the procedure, the use of the Obagi Nu-Derm System is recommended. The Obagi Blue Peel uses Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) as the active ingredient mixed with the patented Blue Base from Obagi. The peel will be applied based on your level of skin damage and your desired level of Transformation.

What to expect with a Blue Peel

A mild burning sensation will occur that generally lasts only a few minutes. Then you may experience a bluish tint to your skin that usually washes off in 12 to 24 hours. You will be advised on how many peels are needed to give you the desired result.

Depending on the strength and depth following the procedure, you may experience light swelling. Within two to three days, your skin will begin to peel. This peeling continues over the next several days. By the seventh to tenth day, your skin should be healed.

Once your skin has completely recovered and is finished peeling, you will notice a visible improvement in your complexion. Your skin's appearance should continue to improve for the next four to six weeks, becoming firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful looking.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an exciting "no-downtime" procedure that rejuvenates and refreshes skin of the face and neck. Tiny crystals of aluminum oxide are used to gently exfoliate the outer layers of skin. Following this the crystals, along with dead skin particles, are eliminated by the machine. Most patients experience little or no redness with the procedure, which disappears shortly thereafter. Busy patients can return immediately to work or home.

Microdermabrasion can erase fine lines and age spots, as well as improve acne scars. Skin texture generally becomes softer and more uniform or smooth. A typical treatment lasts under thirty minutes, and can be combined with a facial or light peel . Five to six treatments are performed at biweekly intervals.
